
North Florida Athletics Eclipses Record-Setting Year in Fundraising and Revenue Generation In 2025-26

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Athletics announced another record-setting year in fundraising and revenue generation behind the effort and support of its Osprey Boosters, Development staff, programs and more in 2025-26.
"This extraordinary fundraising success is a powerful reflection of what can be accomplished when a community rallies behind a shared vision for North Florida Athletics," Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Nick Morrow said. "The record-setting support we received during the 2025-26 year speaks volumes about the confidence our alumni, donors, fans, corporate partners and friends have in the direction of our department and the potential of our student-athletes. Every gift, regardless of size, represents an investment in opportunities that enhance the student-athlete experience and position our programs for long-term success. We are deeply grateful for the generosity and belief that continue to propel us forward. The momentum surrounding North Florida Athletics is undeniable, and we are excited to build on this foundation as we pursue even greater achievements together in the years ahead."
The record-setting year for North Florida Athletics was highlighted by unprecedented donor support, academic achievements, strategic facility enhancements and athletic success across various sports. In addition to record fundraising efforts, the department made significant strides in revenue generation, fan experience and other areas. These efforts reinforce the commitment to providing an elevated world-class experience for student-athletes in the new era of college athletics.
On the facilities front, the Texana Bank Suite continued to thrive in its fourth year, providing a premium hospitality experience for North Florida Basketball and Volleyball fans. The Texana Bank Suite matched its record average from FY25 with 160 guests per game over 14 home contests. A vital year-round revenue source, The Texana Bank Suite remains a staple for North Florida Athletics through hosted events and premium access.

- Fundraising and revenue generation achievements were highlighted by a department-record $9,895,366 raised by 2,829 donors. The amount raised is a department record and represented a 23% increase from the previous record set in FY25.
- For the fourth consecutive fiscal year, North Florida Athletics had over 2,800 donors – a first in school history.
- The final sponsorship revenue for the 2025-26 year was $1,238,527, marking a new department record.
- North Florida experienced another successful Giving Day in FY26. Athletics raised $650,443.88 from a record count of 1,965 donors, marking the second-highest fundraising total among all departments. Overall, North Florida Athletics accounted for 33% of all donors and 37% of all dollars raised during Giving Day, leading the university in both categories. North Florida's 2026 Giving Day generated a total of $1,739,303 from 5,884 donors.
- For the second consecutive Giving Day, North Florida Athletics achieved 100% staff participation. Additionally, the Swoop Impact Fund recorded the highest donor participation within Athletics with 335 donors, while raising its second-highest total at $51,033.
- The sixth annual "904 Day" drove substantial results, raising $29,515 across 253 donors while focusing on nutrition with our smoothies for athletes' initiative courtesy of Smoothie King.
- North Florida Athletics continued to have great success in generating revenue from fundraising events with the coordinated efforts of its Development Team. Taking the lead was Assistant Athletic Director of Development Operations and Special Events Jaycie Wegner.
- North Florida Athletics' eighth annual Blue and Gray Bash raised a gross revenue of $119,000 and net revenue of $89,000 with over 170 attendees.
- The annual "Fore" Scholarships Golf Classic at Queens Harbour Country Club grossed $98,000 and was sold out for the second-straight year.

- A major seven-figure renovation of UNF Arena was completed in October of 2025. The renovation featured new locker rooms and team spaces for the Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Volleyball and Beach Volleyball programs. Upgrades and expansions were made to the athletic training room as well as a new state-of-the-art "Paryani Theatre" video room. The newly renovated locker room and team spaces were the first of its kind since UNF Arena was built over 30 years ago.
- A complete overhaul of Harmon stadium featured a new fully Artificial Turf field and a padded outfield wall courtesy of Bragan Better Baseball. Renovations to Harmon Stadium also included the implementation of Cook Corner and the W.W. Gay "Family Fun Zone" turfed area down the left-field foul line. The completion of the new premium seating section known as "The Pit" offers an exclusive viewpoint down the right-field foul line with a drink rail, foot rail, Dream Seats and retractable awnings for shade. Complete bathroom renovations inside The Nest at Harmon Stadium were courtesy of Gary Rodgers Plumbing.
- Spring 2026 marked the beginning of a $7 million to $8 million renovation of Hodges Stadium. The remodeling will encompass HVAC improvements, locker room enhancements and bathroom and concessions renovations. Fans will get an improved viewing section with the addition of hospitality and premium seating.
- In June 2026, land clearing began for North Florida's new 2 1/2-acre top-end grass soccer training fields, which are scheduled to be completed by the end of fall.
