UNF Athletics Hosts Successful 10th Annual "Fore" Scholarships Fundraising Event

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Athletics, along with the help of the UNF Osprey Club and many more members of the UNF community, hosted a successful tenth annual "Fore" Scholarships fundraising event at Queens Harbour Country Club Oct. 24. It was the second year that the event was hosted at Queens Harbour, after first hosting the event there in the fall of 2023.
"Thank you Osprey Nation for joining us at our annual "Fore" Scholarships Golf Classic," Senior Associate AD of Development Matt Lisiewski said. "Your participation and support means the world to us and makes a real difference here at North Florida. We hope you enjoyed the day on the course and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity and enthusiasm. Together we're making an impact on the lives of our student-athletes."
Through the generosity of donors, UNF Athletics raised over $75,000, netting $57,000 through the all-day event in benefit of scholarships for UNF student-athletes. A total of 31 foursomes played the 18 hole course after all spots were sold out in July. UNF Athletics was fortunate enough to have the help of multiple sponsors, including but not limited to:

Beverage cart sponsor - All About Events
A number of North Florida athletics teams were represented throughout the course, engaging with the golfers, with the UNF men's and women's golf teams assisting on drives from the tee box at various holes. Alumni support also helped provide tee gifts.
