JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Baseball fell in its series finale against Stetson, 7-3, at Harmon Stadium on Sunday.

The series marked the first time North Florida has won six straight series to start ASUN play since 2013. It marks the first time UNF has won six straight series in ASUN play in a single season since 2015. Both of those teams finished their seasons with 40+ wins.

North Florida still remains in first place in the ASUN Conference Graphite Division with its Game 3 loss against Stetson.

Stetson opened the scoring with one run in the top of the first inning.

Redshirt junior utility player Boone Hosey tied the game in the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run to left-center field. It marked Hosey's third home run of the season.

Hosey improved his on-base streak to 26 games on Sunday. He's now reached base safely in 32 of the 35 games he's played in and has recorded a hit in 27 of those contests. Sunday marked Hosey's ninth multi-hit game this season.

Stetson answered with two runs in the top of the second inning to take a 3-1 lead.

Redshirt junior utility player Jackson Schrafft reached on a fielding error that scored a run in the bottom of the second frame to cut UNF's deficit to 3-2.

Stetson responded with a three-run top of the fifth inning.

Redshirt sophomore outfielder Carter White tallied his 30th RBI this season in the bottom of the sixth inning with a sacrifice fly to bring UNF within three runs of Stetson.

The Hatter plated their final run of the game in the top of the eighth inning, bringing the score to its final margin.
