
Maxwell's Program Record Highlights Split Weekend Action For Track And Field At Georgia Tech Invitational, Bryan Clay Invitational

ATLANTA – Sophomore Colin Maxwell set the program-record in the Men's Javelin with a mark of 53.98m (177-1) at the Georgia Tech Invitational to highlight split-weekend action for North Florida Track and Field on Friday.Â

At the Georgia Tech Invitational, sophomore Ava Wyant posted a personal-best time of 4:32.14 in the Women's 1500m. Junior Andrew Mahorner placed ninth with a personal-best time of 3:49.51, graduate student Christian Ruocco finished 13th at 3:50.39 and senior Ryan Douihech rounded out three Ospreys in the top-20 of the Men's 1500m with a time of 3:51.78.
Freshmen Parker Banzhaf and Jayden Santos-Gonzalez each clocked top-four times in Heat 2 of the Men's 5000m to place in the top-20 overall in the event.Â
Senior Ella Chandler clocked a time of 2:06.64 and junior Katerina Natsiopoulou turned in a time of 2:12.39 in the Women's 800m Invite on the second day of competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif.Â
