
Maxwell's Program Record Highlights Split Weekend Action For Track And Field At Georgia Tech Invitational, Bryan Clay Invitational

ATLANTA – Sophomore Colin Maxwell set the program-record in the Men's Javelin with a mark of 53.98m (177-1) at the Georgia Tech Invitational to highlight split-weekend action for North Florida Track and Field on Friday.
At the Georgia Tech Invitational, sophomore Ava Wyant posted a personal-best time of 4:32.14 in the Women's 1500m. Junior Andrew Mahorner placed ninth with a personal-best time of 3:49.51, graduate student Christian Ruocco finished 13th at 3:50.39 and senior Ryan Douihech rounded out three Ospreys in the top-20 of the Men's 1500m with a time of 3:51.78.
Freshmen Parker Banzhaf and Jayden Santos-Gonzalez each clocked top-four times in Heat 2 of the Men's 5000m to place in the top-20 overall in the event.
Senior Ella Chandler clocked a time of 2:06.64 and junior Katerina Natsiopoulou turned in a time of 2:12.39 in the Women's 800m Invite on the second day of competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif.
North Florida continues its split weekend action at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday.
