JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has officially announced that North Florida Women's Soccer redshirt junior Paige McSwigan has been selected to the final roster for the Philippine Women's National Team (the "Filipinas") for the upcoming 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup Australia.
McSwigan's selection marks a significant milestone in her international career, which began with a historic debut last year. The St. Johns, Florida native first broke into the national team setup in April 2025 during their Dubai Camp, where she was one of only 24 players selected for the squad. She earned her first international "cap" on April 4, 2025, entering in the 45th minute of a dominant victory over UAE FA.
The AFC Women's Asian Cup is the premier women's football competition in Asia. The Philippines will kick off their tournament in the opening ceremony match against host nation Australia on Sunday, March 1.
The top teams from the group stage will advance to the Quarterfinals and will vie for a spot in the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.
