ORLANDO, Fla. – Four program-record times were surpassed for North Florida Swimming on Wednesday at Day One of the 2026 ASUN Championships, held at the Rosen Aquatic Center in Orlando, Fla.Â
Â
Sophomore Abby Noga set the initial program record with a Prelims time of 23.31 in the 50 Freestyle. Noga's time surpassed the previous mark of 23.48 set by Ashley Kephart at the 2025 ASUN Championships. Noga surpassed her own program record in the 50 Freestyle Finals with a time of 23.18 to close out the initial day of action.Â
Â
The night session started with sophomore Katie Carlos, senior Victoria Torres, junior Kayla Daley and Noga breaking the 200 Medley Relay program record with a time of 1:41.84.Â
Â
Daley posted the 200 Individual Medley program record with a Finals mark of 2:03.37. The previous record was accomplished by Sara Evans at 2:03.78 at the 2012 CCSA Championships.Â
Â
"This was the best first day in my time here at North Florida at a championship," Head Coach Ian Coffey said. "We started off the morning session strong with good swims from both the 500 Freestyle and 200 IM groups. The 50 Freestyle was super fast today and we had five swimmers make it back at night with Abby Noga breaking the program record."
Â
"The night session started off with excitement with Katie Carlos, Victoria Torres, Kayla Daley, and Abby Noga breaking the program record in the 200 Medley Relay. In the 500 Freestyle, Grace Burton and Skyler Jansen stepped up and improved their times from the morning. Paige Munna won the B Final in the 500 Freestyle. In the 200 Individual Medley, Kayla Daley broke the program record while winning the B Final. To finish off the session, Abby Noga broke her own record again with a fifth-place finish in the Finals. It was a great start to the meet. A total team effort. We're looking forward to tomorrow morning in Session 3".Â
North Florida continues its postseason run at Day Two of the 2026 ASUN Championships on Thursday, Feb. 19, starting at 10 a.m. ET.Â
