PRIOR TO UNF
Attended Seaholm HS, where she swam for four years in the freestyle race...was named an All-State selection twice in 2023 and 2024, as well as an All-American in 2023...competed in the YMCA National Short Course Championships, the NSSL A Championships, the MHSAA Division 2 State Championship and the MCSA Senior Cup Championship...was also named a scholar-athlete in high school.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Dave and Kyle Jansen, has one brother, Taylor...cousin, Ruby, competed on the rowing team at Michigan...also had two uncles, Jon and Matt Jansen, and grandfather, Larry Jansen, compete in collegiate athletics...uncle, Jon, went on to play football for Michigan, as well as in the NFL for Detroit and Washington...born on Apr. 5, 2007...plans to major in nursing...chose UNF because "it offered a strong program in my intended major, along with that, the campus is located in proximity to the city and beach. What really stood out, though, was the team atmosphere at UNF. Everyone was welcoming and supportive, and I knew it was a place where I could grow both academically and personally."
