Women's Tennis Reveals 2025-26 Schedule

9/10/2025 1:00:00 PM

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women's tennis finalized its full schedule for the 2025-26 season, as announced by Catherine Dunagan on Wednesday.

"I'm really excited for this year's fall and spring schedules," Head Coach Catherine Dunagan said. "We're hosting three fall tournaments that will feature some of the top competitors in the country, giving our team great opportunities to test ourselves early. This spring will look a little different without the traditional ASUN schedule, but we've built a strong non-conference slate while still competing against several of the top ASUN programs. That combination will prepare us well for the ASUN Championship Tournament. Our journey toward a conference title starts now, and I can't wait to watch our players grow every day through practice and competition."

North Florida will host three events and compete in a total of five in its fall season. UNF competes in 20 total matches and 12 home matches in the spring.

The Ospreys play three matches against teams that made last year's 2025 NCAA Championships – Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic and FIU.

Five in-state opponents are on the slate for North Florida – Florida Atlantic, USF, Florida A&M, FIU, and FGCU. The Ospreys travel across four different states – Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Colorado.

North Florida hosts the Bedford Cup from Oct. 3-5, the ASUN Conference Individuals on Oct. 24 and the UNF Fall Invite from Nov. 7-9 at the UNF Tennis Complex.

The Ospreys travel to the College of Charleston Tourney from Sept. 26-28 prior to hosting the Bedford Cup. UNF's final road matches in the fall will be at the ITA Regionals hosted by UCF from Oct. 16-19. For its final two fall home events, they will host the ASUN Conference Individuals and the UNF Fall Invite.

North Florida opens its spring season with five of its first six matches at the UNF Tennis Complex. The Ospreys' initial two matches will be at home against Florida Atlantic on Jan. 16, followed by a quick turnaround against Georgia Southern on Jan. 18.

In their first road test of the spring, UNF plays at USF on Feb. 7, before returning home for a double-header against Charleston Southern and Florida A&M on Feb. 13. They will then play its third home match in as many days against Georgia State on Feb. 15 at the UNF Tennis Complex.

Making their way out-of-state, UNF will have a four-match road stint at Presbyterian on Feb. 19, Davidson on Feb. 21, Air Force on Feb. 27 and Colorado State on Feb 28. After the calendar turns to March, the Ospreys will play its final 10 regular-season matches in-state.

After returning home for the first time in over two weeks, the Ospreys will play five-straight matches at the UNF Tennis Complex starting against Eastern Michigan on March 4. UNF hosts Lipscomb on March 10 and closes out its home stint against UAB on March 13, Appalachian State on March 15 and North Alabama on March 22.

The Ospreys will travel to DeLand, Fla., for a neutral-site match against Milwaukee on 24 and will play its final two home matches of the spring against FIU on March 27 and Austin Peay on March 29. The final road stop for North Florida in the regular season will be in Fort Meyers, Fla., for two matches in as many days at FGCU on April 3 and a neutral-site match against South Alabama on April 4.

The 2026 ASUN Championships will be hosted by FGCU at the FGCU Tennis Complex from Apr. 16-18 to decide the conference's champion and its automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament.
