
Fekany Selected to NCAA Career in Sports Forum

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - North Florida women's soccer's Allie Fekany has been selected to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum held May 28-31 in Indianapolis, Ind.
The four-day forum is hosted by the NCAA and allows a group of 200 student-athletes to have the chance to investigate and learn about a variety of career opportunities in sports. The content of the forum includes: (per the NCAA)
Fekany and the other student-athletes invited will have the chance to listen to keynote speakers, participate in forums, breakout sessions and other networking opportunities.
Who is Eligible? (per the NCAA)
Fekany is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in sport management. The Orlando, Fla., native scored three goals in 17 appearances during her redshirt sophomore season in 2024 for the Ospreys. She was named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team in 2022 and has made the ASUN Academic Honor Roll in each of the past two years.

- Educate participants on how personal strengths intersect with career opportunities.
- Provide participants with tangible experiences that will push them forward in their aspiration for a career in sports.
- Explore professional and career development strategies to help the transition to a career in the sports industry.
- Learn about the role of an intercollegiate coach, athletics administrator and national governing body staff member.
Fekany and the other student-athletes invited will have the chance to listen to keynote speakers, participate in forums, breakout sessions and other networking opportunities.
Who is Eligible? (per the NCAA)
- Attendees must be nominated by their school or conference. Third year, fourth year, fifth year and graduate student-athletes are eligible to attend.
- Nominees must have participated in an NCAA-sponsored sport during the current academic year at the time of the application deadline. Eligible student-athletes who will have graduated before the forum dates are eligible to participate. Previous Career in Sports Forum participants are not eligible to reapply.
- When selecting nominees, schools and conferences are strongly encouraged to consider a diverse slate of nominees.
