JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women's tennis looks to remain unbeaten in ASUN conference action when it hosts Florida Gulf Coast and Stetson for a pair of weekend matches at UNF Tennis Complex.Â
Â
North Florida battles Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, April 4 and Stetson on Sunday, April 6. Both matches are set to start at 11 a.m.Â
Â
North Florida has won seven straight and 10 of its last 12 matches. The Ospreys are also 6-0 at home this season. During the seven-match winning streak, North Florida has swept four opponents.Â
Â
Four different Osprey players have undefeated records in conference singles competition with at least three matches played. Freshman Aryana Bartlett leads with a 6-0 record, five wins which came at the two line, while redshirt junior Anslee Long, sophomore Alisa Lyshko and junior Jasmin Makela have combined for 13-0 across five matches. Junior Laurie Barendse, who was awarded ASUN Player of the Week earlier this month, is also 4-1 on the top court against conference opponents this season.
Â
The 10-time ASUN Tournament and seven-time ASUN Regular Season champion North Florida were tabbed to finish second in the 2025 ASUN Preseason Poll. The Ospreys are in their sixth season under two-time ASUN Coach of the Year Catherine Dunagan who has guided the Ospreys to three ASUN Regular Season titles, two ASUN Tournament titles, an NCAA Tournament win and the program's NCAA Tournament Singles and Doubles appearances.
Â
