
FIRST PITCH - Baseball Hosts Midweek Rematch Against Bethune-Cookman

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball looks to bounce back at home against Bethune-Cookman for an early evening showdown on Tuesday, Apr. 15, with first pitch set for 4 p.m., at Harmon Stadium.

Last Time Out
The Ospreys look to get back in the win column following their weekend series on the road against top-ranked ASUN opponent, Stetson. UNF eyes back-to-back midweek wins for the second time this season after walking off UCF for a 6-5 victory against the Knights. Nick Monile has been hot from the plate as of recent with a .352 season batting average with five doubles and five triples. Cade Bush, Carter White and Seth Alford all lead the team in home runs with four each.
Scouting Bethune-Cookman
Bethune-Cookman enters Tuesday with a 20-16 overall record and a 13-2 mark in-conference for SWAC play. The Wildcats are 6-7 on the road wrapping up a current nine-game road trip that featured stops at USF, Mississippi Valley State, Miami (FL) and Alabama A&M. They have won six of their past seven games with nine or more runs scored in five of those matchups. Andrey Martinez leads the team in batting average at .368 with an outstanding 11 home runs and 37 RBI.
Series History
UNF holds an all-time record of 22-12 against the Wildcats with a 14-4 mark at home. This will be the third game played against Bethune-Cookman since 2019, as the other two matchups were from 2024 and earlier this season. The Ospreys are 5-5 over the past 10 games against B-CU, but six of the previous seven before that mark.
