Ospreys Take Eighth at Furman Tournament

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Casilda Allendesalazar put together the finishing touches on one of her best performances as an Osprey so far in her career with a top-five individual placement at the Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman on Sunday afternoon.

The senior was the leader for North Florida women's golf this weekend with a score of 5-under 211. She turned in her 18th top-10 and 22nd top-25 finishes of her collegiate career, as well as third tournament under par in Osprey blue and gray.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Allendesalazar completed the final round with the most birdies on the team with three total on her way to a 5-under 211 combined score.
She totaled 12 birdies over the three competition days and completed two of her three rounds under par.
Helen Zhou had another solid outcome in the final round with 14 pars to card 8-over 224 inside the top 30.
Braydn Smith finished off her collegiate team debut for the Ospreys with a trio of birdies to place tied for 31st at 9-over 225.
Kaitlyn Schroeder finished just outside the top 40 on the leaderboard at 11-over 227, followed with Kaitlynn Washburn's 16-over 232 to wrap up the tournament weekend.
