Three Ospreys Stand Inside Top 30 Overall
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - North Florida women's golf had a stellar showing to start off in the opening round of the Evie Odom Invitational hosted by Old Dominion on Friday afternoon.
After day one, the Ospreys were Kaitlyn Schroeder who had a strong front nine with three birdies over four holes to get to 2-over 72 tied for 17th overall. Casilda Allendesalazar led the team in birdies with four total, while Helen Zhou had a flawless front nine for both of them to be tied for 27th at 3-over.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Schroeder finished the round with a top-five par-four average score (1-under) and a top-six par-five average score (1-under).
- Allendesalazar had a top-three mark of four birdies, including a 3-under mark through a span of 10 holes.
- The senior was also the top par-five scorer with a 4-under mark, which is two more strokes better than the second-best player.
