Ospreys Tied For Fifth Through Two Rounds at Furman

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Casilda Allendesalazar soared up the player's leaderboard once again with a 4-under 68 second round score to share first overall after a pair of rounds at the Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman on Saturday afternoon.

North Florida women's golf had another solid showing as a team in the second day of play, led by Allendesalazar's near-flawless round with five birdies and only one hole worse than par. The Ospreys also had both Helen Zhou and Braydn Smith complete quality second rounds to stand just outside the top 25 overall.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Allendesalazar carded five birdies, including three-in-a-row from the 12th through 14th holes to share first on the leaderboard at Furman.
An individual victory from Allendesalazar would make it back-to-back years that a UNF player wins medalist honors at the Lady Paladin Invitational, following Christin Eisenbeiss' win from 2023.
Zhou totaled 14 pars in the second round to go into the final round at 4-over 148 tied for 26th overall.
Smith continues her team debut for the Ospreys tied for 31st in the rankings at 6-over 150 after repeating her 3-over 75 round from Friday.
Kaitlyn Schroeder sits just outside the top 40 overall to be 8-over 152 through the first two days.
Kaitlynn Washburn improved her score on Saturday with a 3-over 75 second round to wrap up the day for UNF.
