Ospreys Progress to Finals for First Time Since 2021

DELAND, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball (23-11) made it three sweeps on the trot to punch its ticket to the 2024 ASUN Championship Finals in a 3-0 victory over No. 2 Stetson (21-11) on Friday afternoon at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex.

Similar to the semifinals, UNF got out to an early 2-0 advantage, but the Hatters wouldn't go down without a fight, forcing a third set on court three. The First Team All-ASUN duo of Iris Fletcher and Katie Camp clinched the winning match point to send the Ospreys to their first final since the 2021 season, where North Florida won its last championship.

Cameron Humphries and Hayden Wooldridge got the Ospreys on the board first, recording their 20th win of the season. Mariana Feliciano Sanchez and Mackenzie Murphy faced a tough test on court two, but were able to win in two sets for their team-high 24th win. Fletcher and Camp were able to deny a Hatters comeback, putting the match to bed in three sets to clinch a third sweep in a row and send the Ospreys to the final.
