Won Two State Championships with Creekside HS
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida head women's soccer coach Eric Faulconer announces the addition of defender Braelyn McMillan to the 2025 roster, the Jacksonville area product, out of Creekside High School and Florida Elite ECNL will join the Ospreys as a freshman this fall.
McMillan is currently a captain at Creekside where she helped the Knights capture two 7A high school state championships in 2022 and 2024. She played along current Ospreys Paige McSwigan and Brenna Robinson on Creekside's 2022 state championship team.Â
The St. Johns, Fla. native earned ECNL First Team All-Conference honors during her youth club career with Florida Elite ECNL. She is a TopDrawer Soccer 3-Star prospect and was ranked as high as 10th in the 2025 Florida recruiting class also by TopDrawer.
"We are excited to add the very talented Braelyn McMillan to our 2025 freshmen class. Braelyn has a really high ceiling, and we feel strongly she is going to be a very productive player in our backline for years to come. Her combination of great technical ability and her overall pace will fit perfectly in our system, as well as our style of play. We added what I believe to be two of the best outside backs in the Jacksonville area in left sided defender Natalie McCann and in Braelyn McMillan. Year in and year out we have been able to keep some of the best local talent at home in the 904 and that is something we are very proud of." Eric Faulconer, Head Women's Soccer Coach
"Braelyn is without a doubt one of the hardest working and most consistent players. Every day you know what you're going to get with her and that's her best. She is a dangerous weapon at outside back with her ability to get into the attack with her speed and technical ability. Not only does she possess great technical ability and athleticism, but her soccer IQ and ability to keep the ball will be extremely helpful to her success at UNF. Besides her soccer talent, Braelyn is an even better person and teammate. Any team is lucky to have Braelyn on their team and I know she will be super successful in helping UNF." Lexi Messick, Creekside High School Head Coach
