Ospreys Play 53 Games in Sunshine State, 26 Games Hosted at UNF Softball Complex
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball releases its full schedule for the 2025 season, as announced by head coach Jeff Conrad on Monday afternoon.
The Ospreys' schedule features 56 games total, which is three more than last season's slate, including 26 games hosted at UNF Softball Complex. The biggest note on the spring schedule for UNF is that 53 of the 56 total regular season games will be played within the state of Florida.
Some of the key non-conference opponents at home for the Ospreys will be seeing three Power Five opponents at UNF Softball Complex. Florida, Florida State and Arkansas will all be making midweek trips to Jacksonville during the 2025 season.
The 24-game ASUN schedule was released earlier this fall by the league, as they have shifted to strictly divisional play with four home and four road weekend series against intradivisional opponents. UNF will face off against Stetson, West Georgia and Jacksonville twice, followed by Queens at home and FGCU on the road.
"We are excited to have 56 games on the schedule. Being able to play a full slate was something that was very important to us. Playing for the first time that I can recall on opening night is something our kids will really look forward to. Having the ability to host world series, super regional and regional teams at our place is a big deal and a great opportunity."
