Hosted by Georgia Tech from Oct. 17-22
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis proceeds with its fall season at the ITA Southeast Regionals this week from Oct. 17-22 in Atlanta, Ga.
During the last outing for the Ospreys, Alisa Lyshko and Isabel Oliveira secured a victory in doubles before the Bedford Cup was postponed due to the weather. UNF now looks to carry that momentum into this six-day tournament week.
All matches in qualifying will be held on Thursday with two rounds of singles and no doubles qualifying draw. The main draw features a 64-singles draw and 64-doubles draw, as well as a singles and doubles consolation draw for first round losers in the main draw.
The two singles finalists from each region, which includes 26 total, from the ITA Regionals and the doubles champion from each region, 13 total, will earn automatic qualification to the NCAA Individual Championships in November. The meet will include 17 total teams, including six Power Four teams, 11 Florida-based teams and two ASUN teams.
Following the weekend, UNF will wrap up its fall season back home at the UNF Tennis Complex, as they host the UNF Fall Invitational from Nov. 1-3.
Complete draws, schedules, and location information for the six-day tournament are available above.
