First Half: Broermann started off the action with a layup in the paint to put the Ospreys' first two points on the board...Lyric Swann and Kaila Rougier both came back with layups of their own to extend their early lead to four...Adams made the last field goal of the period with just over two minutes left in the first quarter to keep it tied at 9-9...Rougier made another bucket to tie, followed by Helena Rafnsdottir making a three to take a one-point lead...the defense continued to stay strong on both sides with Eklund with the only UNF field goal in the last five minutes of the half to go into the break down three.

"I'm proud of our kids' effort, but disappointed in our lack of point production tonight. Recently, we've struggled to score due to excessive turnovers. Tonight, we actually took care of the ball better and scored more points off turnovers than KSU. I praised our players for that in the locker room after the game. We scored more points in the paint than they did, which is an improvement. But to shoot 1-for-19 from 3 is just unacceptable. We missed some bunnies inside too. It's unprofessional. Our staff did a great job preparing for this game. Transition defense was a big key and that worked well for us, but we didn't convert our open shots. Making shots has to matter more to our team."
