
Women's Golf Stays Steady in Top Four at Lady Paladin Invitational

Kashima and Eisenbeiss Both Land in Top Eight of Leaderboard
GREENVILLE, S.C. - North Florida women's golf had another great day with a pair of players scoring under par to stay in fourth as a team in the second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman on Saturday afternoon.
Both One Kashima and Christin Eisenbeiss shot 2-under 70 on the day to both place within the top eight individuals on the player's leaderboard. They are the only team out of all 16 teams in the field to have two players in the top eight, while also being the only team with four players in the top 27 overall.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Kashima repeated her four-birdie, 12-par day to turn in another round of 2-under 70 to share a spot among the top five players.
- She has a top-five mark in birdies among the field with eight total, while also holding a top-six mark in scoring average for par-five holes at 3-under through a pair of rounds.
- Eisenbeiss made a strong push over the last 10 holes on Saturday with three birdies to bring home a second round score of 2-under 70 as well to be tied for eighth.
- She also has seven birdies combined through the first two days, which is only one short of Kashima's team lead with 8 total.
- Both Kashima and Eisenbeiss are top five in par-four average (1-under) and top 15 in par-three average (even-par).
- Casilda Allendesalazar had a mistake-free back nine holes with nine straight pars to help get her to 4-over 148 combined through two rounds.
- Wyndom Burnett started the day off with the first of three birdies to jump with Allendesalazar into a share of 27th overall.
- The redshirt sophomore also leads the team with a top-seven mark in pars with 25 total, followed closely by Kashima, Eisenbeiss and Allendesalazar with 24 in two rounds of play.
- Jessie Cai rounded out the group with a score of 5-over 77, while Kaitlynn Washburn finished her day as an unattached individual with an improved score of 3-over 75.
- The Ospreys overtook the lead in par-four scoring average (8-over), while also staying top five in par-three (5-over) and par-five (3-under) average.
- UNF also lead the tournament field in pars with 119 total, as well as fourth in birdies with 27 total.
