ASUN Announces Swimming and Diving as Sponsored Sports

Competition to Begin this Season
ATLANTA - The ASUN announced Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving as sponsored sports for the upcoming 2023-24 competition season, made official by ASUN commissioner Jeff Bacon Monday, Aug. 28.
"Our program is very excited to be a part of the ASUN conference" head coach Ian Coffey said, "With swimming, all UNF sports teams are now under the ASUN umbrella. We may be in a new conference but the competition is going to continue to be very fast".
The Ospreys were previously members of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) which saw them compete in the CCSA Championships every February. With the news, UNF women's swimming will compete against Bellarmine, Queens (N.C.), Gardner-Webb, FGCU, Liberty and UNC Asheville in the ASUN Conference.
Details on the 2024 ASUN Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships will be announced as it becomes available.
