JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball wraps up its 2023 regular season slate with three night games against Jacksonville from May 4-6 at the UNF Softball Complex.
The Ospreys will be playing their first conference games under the lights this season, as well as the first ASUN weekend with three games spanning over three days. They will attempt to make one final push for the postseason currently riding a 9-2-1 record over the last 12 games.
All matchups will be broadcasted on ESPN+ this weekend. Updates for each game will be made through live stats, as well as on Twitter at OspreySB.
The Ospreys will wait and see if their record in conference play will be good enough to make the ASUN Championship tournament from May 8-13 hosted in Deland, Fla.

WHAT TO KNOW
- The Ospreys have won their last three ASUN series against North Alabama, Bellarmine and FGCU.
- UNF swept the Dolphins at their place last season, outscoring them 33-7 with two run-ruled wins.
- Have won three of the last four regular-season series against JU since 2019.
- Shannon Glover surpassed the career mark for 100 RBIs, which has only been accomplished by one of four Ospreys in D-I program history.
- She also is two home runs shy of matching the D-I record for most home runs in a season, as well as the career record at UNF.
- Chloe Culp is one triple shy of matching the D-I UNF record for most in a season, as she sits with three total heading into this weekend.
- Harper is 12 steals away from being the top career mark in program history, along with being nine away from the season record.
- UNF ranks first in the conference for doubles with 65 total, while Culp is the eighth-ranked individual in the nation with 16.
- Harper and Glover also rank top-40 individually in the nation for stolen bases (24) and total bases (106) respectively.
- In the conference, Glover ranks second in home runs (11), third in hits (57), third in extra base hits (25), fourth in doubles (12) and fifth in runs (37).
- Both Ashley Connor and Izzy Kelly have reached 11 wins or more on the season with ERAs under 2.50.
- Connor leads the team in appearances (35), innings pitched (154.1) and strikeouts (93).
OPPONENT NOTES
- Jacksonville comes into the last conference series of the season with a 23-25 overall record and a 9-12 ASUN record. They are 6-8 in road games as well after recently sweeping Queens in Charlotte, N.C. After the sweep, they returned home and were swept by Stetson this past weekend. Both JU and UNF will be fighting for a spot in the ASUN Championship tournament, as they both are on the outside looking in. Madison Reynolds is the Dolphins' lone hitter with over a .300 batting average with 46 total hits (.319 BA) and 27 RBIs. Allison Bratek is the power bat on the team with seven home runs and 21 RBIs on the year. Emma Whitfield and Ashlee Harwood have both pitched over 100 innings with 95 combined strikeouts and 16 complete games in their 16 total recorded victories.
- UNF leads the overall series against the Dolphins, 29-19, with the last meeting being a 11-2 run-ruled victory at Jacksonville, Fla., in 2022.
