MOBILE, Ala. - North Florida men's golf had the best score of any team in the final round to finish as the runner-ups at the ASUN Championship on Wednesday afternoon.

The Ospreys completed their week at 49-under 815, which sets a new record for best 54-hole tournament score in program history, eclipsing the mark of 816 set at the Ka'anapali Classic in 2018. It was also the team's fourth top-two finish as a team this season and ninth top-five finish as well.

Nick Gabrelcik and Robbie Higgins both turned in their third consecutive rounds in the 60s during the last day of play to both make the ASUN All-Tournament Team with top-five individual finishes. With a runner-up finish, Gabrelcik has now placed inside the top two in each of the past three conference meets he's competed in.
