Ospreys Pull Off 13th Sweep of the Season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball (22-9) started off its run to the ASUN Championship by sweeping EKU (15-13) to advance in the winner's bracket Friday, April 21.

North Florida dropped just one set across all five courts, pulling off its 13th sweep of the season in the inaugural postseason match for UNF at The Coop.

UNF is pitted against second-seeded FGCU tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.

The Ospreys stuck with its regular season pairings, taking the fours and fives in straight sets before Michaela Rezentes and Katie Camp clinched it at the third slot.

Audrey Brooks and Iris Fletcher went 21-18, 21-18 in consecutive matches to add insurance. Presley Murray and Madison Espy were resilient, coming back after being set down to win 15-12 in the third.
