North Florida Cheerleading Turns in Record Numbers at Nationals

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - UNF cheerleading is excited to announce that it achieved record results after its latest appearance in the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals in Daytona Beach earlier this month.
Competing in the Division I small-coed advanced division, the UNF cheerleading program placed fourth and achieved a 92.3519 out of 100 percent in prelims to advance and improve upon their score in the finals.Â
The North Florida cheerleading team's routine made program history after outsourcing previous numbers in difficulty and technique scores. UNF defeated conference rival UCA as North Florida maintained its performance in a very competitive field.
