- Tryout Dates: breaks, sessions, and cuts will be determined by the turnout of participants
- Sunday, April 28, 2024, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Monday, April 29, 2024, 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (lunch and dinner breaks included)
- Tuesday, April 30, 2024, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., lunch break, first team meeting 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Tryout location:Â UNF Fieldhouse, 1 UNF DR. Jacksonville, FL
- UNF Fieldhouse is searchable in MAPS
- Please contact UNF Parking Services to plan for parking arrangements on Monday, Apr. 29, and Tuesday, Apr. 30Â -- Contact Parking
- Tryout Attire
- Sunday - Navy UNF shirt/tank or navy apparel with minimal logos, grey running shorts, tall white socks, athletic/cheer shoes, and hair in mid-height ponytail with hair secured out of face, and small or medium size bow.
- Monday - new candidates, white UNF shirt or unbranded shirt/tank, navy running shorts, tall white socks, athletic/cheer shoes, and hair in mid-height ponytail with hair secured out of face, and small or medium size bow. Returning candidates, navy UNF shirt, grey running shorts, tall white socks, athletic/cheer shoes, and hair in mid-height ponytail with hair secured out of face, and small or medium size bow.
- Tuesday - Black full coverage sports bra with minimal logos, black running shorts, tall white socks, athletic/cheer shoes, and hair half up/half down with volume, hair secured out of face, and small or medium sized white bow.
- No spandex shorts

Tryout Requirements:
- Proof of acceptance to the University, if you have not received a decision yet, please reach out to Coach Nikki Mills, n.mills@unf.edu, for more information about how to proceed.
- Returning athletes, current college potential candidates, or those entering with a GPA will need to provide proof of > 2.0 GPA.
- Completion of sports medicine participation waiver (available here); current sports physical (cannot be performed by a chiropractor) and copy of insurance card for proof of insurance.
- Execution of UNF Fight Song
- Learn the words here
- Execution of standing and running tumbling skills on mat surface and basketball court. Standing tumbling skills will need to be performed with poms.
- Execution of progressive sideline basic stunting skills (walk in extension pop off, walk in lib pop off, quick toss extension, switch up lib, high to high lib tick tock, and full up to platform).
- Evaluation of level 7 stunting
- Evaluation of collegiate sideline
- The coaching staff reserves all rights to determine squad candidacy, execution of skills does not automatically grant an individual team placement. The team is composed of up to 25 individuals, male and female, and stunt position and team needs will be taken into consideration.
- A live tryout is required for team placement. If you cannot attend our tryout dates, you can send a skills video to coach Nikki Mills, n.mills@unf.edu, as a placeholder to reserve a tryout date at a future time. Keep in mind, sports medicine compliance and requirements, acclimation and conditioning requirements, camp registration and summer practices will require team finalization of the roster by June 1.
- Video submission deadline is April, 29, 2024, by 9 p.m.
- In some instances, we do hold a fall or winter tryout, pending squad needs.
