
Women's Golf Finishes Tied For Sixth at ASUN Championship

Eisenbeiss Shares Second Overall, Makes All-Tournament Team
OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. - No. 100 North Florida women's golf finished out the final round with a share of sixth overall at the ASUN Championship on Tuesday afternoon at Hampton Cove - RTJ Golf Trail. Christin Eisenbeiss was one of three women to turn in a final round score in the 60s to share second overall at 3-over 219. With the runner-up finish, the newly-selected ASUN Co-Golfer of the Year made her third consecutive All-Tournament Team at the conference meet.
The Ospreys saved their best for last, as they hit under the 300 mark during the third round at the conference meet. With a combined score of 11-over 299 on the final day of play, they were only one of three ASUN teams to score below 300.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Christin Eisenbeiss finished the final two holes of the tournament with back-to-back birdies to vault herself into a top-two finish at the ASUN Championship.
- She cared 3-under 69 in the final round with four total birdies and only had one hole that was worse than par.
- The Hamburg, Germany, native had the third-most pars over the three rounds with 37 total.
- It was also the junior's fifth top-10 placement of the season, as well as her ninth time among the top 25 individuals.
- Daniela Gonzalez started the final round with a birdie and finished with five straight pars to earn her second top-25 finish on the season, as well as the 15th of her career.
- She recorded 5-over 76 in the third round to come out with a share of 23rd at 15-over 231 combined.
- Both Eisenbeiss and Gonzalez finished with an even-par average on par-three holes, which ranked tied for third at the meet.
- Kaitlynn Washburn wrapped up one of her best showing this season at 17-over 233 for the best placement of her career tied for 30th overall.
- She also ranked top 10 among the field for pars with 34 total, while also being the second Osprey to be above that mark.
- Sarah Scott improved yet again in the third round to share 33rd overall in the meet at 18-over 234.
- Scott finished with the top mark for birdies with 10 total, while also joining Eisenbeiss with a share of the third-best par-four average at 2-over.
- Jessie Cai had her best round of the week at 6-over 77 with four birdies, including back-to-back to round out the front nine.
- She completed the week with a top-four mark among the conference field on par-five average at 2-under.
- The Ospreys were one of two teams at the meet to have four players in the top 33, while also having one among the top six.
- UNF complete the tournament with the overall lead for birdies with 36 total, along with a top-five par-four average score at 43-over after the final day.
