PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Christin Eisenbeiss finished her first round of the NCAA Palm Beach Gardens Regional at 6-over 78 during the opening day Monday afternoon.

The ASUN Co-Golfer of the Year started the day with seven pars over the first nine holes and finished the back half with two birdies. She currently sits with a share of 46th overall in the regional field and is one of six individuals at the meet that will be looking to advance to the NCAA Championship as the top scorer from a non-qualifying school.

Eisenbeiss sits ahead of No. 41-ranked Lauryn Nguyen from Northwestern and No. 57-ranked Sophie Guo from Texas.
The Hamburg, Germany, native notched 10 total pars with two birdies during the first round of play.
Both birdies were on the back nine, including one of the 10th hole to start the second half of the opening round.
Was 4-over on par-three holes, 3-over on par-four holes and 1-under on par-five holes on Monday.
