Eisenbeiss Among Top Eight After Second Round

OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. - No. 100 North Florida women's golf had all five players score in the 70s to sit in the seventh spot through two rounds of the ASUN Championship on Monday afternoon.

The Ospreys finished one stroke better than their score from the opening round, as they sit in the middle of the pack heading into the final round at Hampton Cove. Eight total birdies in the second round helped put three UNF players inside the top 25 individuals after two days at the conference meet.

Christin Eisenbeiss repeated her score of 4-over 75 to move among the top eight players. Kaitlynn Washburn and Daniela Gonzalez joins the ASUN Co-Golfer of the Year inside the top 25 players at the tournament.

Eisenbeiss put together six pars on each side to repeat at 4-over 75 to share eighth overall after the second round.
The junior leads the team in pars with 24 total over the first two rounds of play.
She has both a top-seven par-three average at 1-over and a top-nine par-four average at 3-over.
Washburn played in the one-spot and went 8-over 79 during the second round to sit in 21st overall.
Gonzalez matched Eisenbeiss' 4-over 75 to share the best Osprey score on the day to move into the top 25.
Both Washburn and Gonzalez share the third-best par-three average score at even-par.
Sarah Scott also improved her score in the second round with 7-over 78 to be tied for 35th.
She also has the second-most birdies at eight total and the third-best par-four average score at 1-over.
Jessie Cai finished strong with back-to-back birdies to go 8-over 79 to round out the Osprey group.
She continues to hold the fourth-best average score on par five holes at 2-under.
UNF maintains the lead for birdies among all ASUN teams with 24 total, while also having 94 combined pars.
