Petrosky Leaps Big in High Jump
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Two Ospreys took the stage on day two of the Pepsi Florida Relays on Saturday afternoon. Ella Chandler hit the scene in the women's 800m run, while Kaley Petrosky competed in the women's high jump.
FINISH LINE
- Ella Chandler put up a strong race in the women's 800m earning a first-place finish in the fifth heat.
- Chandler ran a little over her previous personal-best rank, as she finished in 2:13.06.
- Kaley Petrosky fought hard in women's high jump, clearing 1.66m on her second attempt.
- This was the highest opening bar that Petrosky has cleared on the season.
- She outranked several contenders from South Florida, Rutgers, Indiana and Vanderbilt.
