Lee Lone Osprey Under Par on Saturday

STATESBORO, Ga. - North Florida men's golf saw all five players improve in their scores as the Ospreys stayed in 12th overall through the second round of the Schenkel Invitational hosted by Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon.

Davis Lee had a fantastic outing on the second day of play with a round of 2-under 70 with two birdies on each side. He joins Yates with a share of 32nd overall as the top Osprey scores on the player's leaderboard.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Lee bounced back from a bogey on his first hole to score 3-under over the next 17 holes to combine for 2-over 146.
Yates mirrored Lee's performance with four birdies as well to score even-par on the day and share 32nd overall.
He also climbed into the top-10 par-three average at 1-under (2.88).
Robbie Higgins was the third Osprey with four birdies in the second round in his 1-over 73 outing.
The junior controls the team lead for birdies with eight total through two rounds.
Jason Duff started with three straight bogeys, but back-to-back birdies helped him to a 1-over 73 round and put himself inside the top 50.
He joins Lee as the co-leader on the team for pars with 24 total.
Cody Carroll rounded out the group with three birdies in his final nine holes, including his last hole, for 2-over 74.
Alejandro Ramos also has 24 total pars through Saturday's second round as an unattached player with a combined score of 9-over 153.
The Ospreys improved 14 total strokes in their team score from the first round to the second round.
UNF finished with total 107 pars and 30 total birdies combined through two days.
