Lee and Higgins Both Card Even-Par During Final Round

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - North Florida men's golf finished out its two-day tournament at the General Hackler Championship hosted by Coastal Carolina on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ospreys were led by Davis Lee and Robbie Higgins in the final round, who combined for eight birdies and an eagle to both score even-par 72 on the day. Higgins made it inside the top 25 individuals for the seventh Tim this season and the 18th time in his career.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Higgins continues to rack up top-25 finishes after his even-par round of four birdies and an eagle on the fourth hole.
Lee finished just outside the top 10 for par-five average (7-under), which helped him in his 1-over 217 combined score to share 31st overall.
Lance Yates saw the most improvement in the third round at 1-over 73 with a pair of birdies in his final six holes to score 12-over 228 combined.
Cooper Smith and Justin Ross each had three birdies on Tuesday to helped them share 75th overall at the meet.
Jason Duff repeated his score from the first round with an even-par 72 in the final round unattached to the team.
Ross and Yates tied for the team lead in most pars over the course of the week with 32 total each.
Both Higgins and Lee tied for the most birdies on the team with 12 total, while Smith and Duff also had double-digit birdies with 11 total.
The Ospreys were the only team outside the top 10 to have a top-25 individual.
UNF had 147 total pars, 48 total birdies and an eagle, along with another eagle from Duff in the first round.
