JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf gets back on the road to play in the Briar's Creek Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston from Mar. 13-14 at Golf Club at Briar's Creek.
The Ospreys have started their spring season in three competitive events at the UCF Challenge, UNLV Lady Rebel and UNF Collegiate. They will continue to play against a strong field with 13 of the 16 teams being ranked in Golfstat's top 100 teams.

TOURNAMENT NOTEBOOK
- North Florida has played an event at College of Charleston in every season except 2020-21.
- Ospreys took home the team win last season at the Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by Charleston.
- Second meet in South Carolina this season after sharing third at the Lady Paladin in Greenville, S.C.
- UNF placed tied for third in their last meet after starting the first two meets outside the top 10.
- This week's lineup features a graduate, a senior, two juniors and a sophomore.
- Christin Eisenbeiss, Daniela Gonzalez and Jessie Cai all played in last season's meet in Charleston.
- The field features 13 top-100 teams and six top-50 teams, which are led by No. 20 UCF and No. 30 SMU.
- Nine Power Five teams will compete in the tournament with the Ospreys as the lone team representing the ASUN.
- The first and second rounds will tee off at 8:45 a.m., and will go all day on Monday with UNF starting at hole 12, while the final round of the tourney will tee off on Tuesday morning.
FROM THE 19TH HOLE
- Jessie Cai is coming off the best tournament score and placement of her collegiate career carding 2-under 214 for a share of seventh at the UNF Collegiate. She will have her sights set on back-to-back top-10 finishes as the top Osprey in the lineup at the Charleston meet.
- Christin Eisenbeiss has been the most consistent golfer for UNF thus far with six top-25 finishes and three top-10 finishes with a scoring average of 72.38. She looks to go for her third-consecutive placement in the top 25 over spring break.
- Sarah Scott also had a career showing at the UNF Collegiate with 7-over 223 to finish tied for 34th among the field. The senior will enter her third event played this season attempting to get her first top-25 finish of her career.
- Daniela Gonzalez had a great first day in her final home meet with a pair of scores at par or better, but finished tied for 34th with Scott at 7-over 223. She hopes to add on to her three total rounds under par at Briar's Creek.
- Wyndom Burnett has competed in all seven events in 2022-23 with a scoring average of 75.67. The former ASUN Golfer of the Week selection from the fall will try and get back inside the top 25 on starting on Monday.
