
TRACK & FIELD INDOOR PREVIEW: Ospreys Split Squads to Gainesville & Boston

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The indoor track and field program will journey to Gainesville, Fla., for a fourth and final round of indoor competition, while also splitting squads for a second consecutive meet and competing in the Boston, Mass., David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
The two-day Gainesville meet will take place once again at the Alachua County Sports Complex from Feb. 9-10, while the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University will be on Feb. 11.
Men

The Ospreys will finish out the indoor season in Lynchburg, Va., to compete in the ASUN Indoor Championship from Feb. 24-25.

LAST TIME OUT
Men
- Macauley Franks placed sixth in the men's mile elite race, which earned him the second ASUN Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor for an Osprey this season.
- Gavin O'Brien, Seth Martinez and Cole Perry exceeded their personal-best times and set new lifetime marks in the 3000m.
- Ladarius Tellis gained a spot in sixth for the 800m, Ryan Douihech finished one slot behind him.
- Timothy Doyle earned a leading rank in the mile at 4:07.83 in second.
- Ella Chandler headlined the flock with a time of 2:18.00 in the 800m.
- Jada Williams joined her with a top 15 time.
- Emma Jane Schlageter finished strong in the women's mile earning a slot in seventh.
- Isa Leen marked a personal best at 9:54.85 in the 3000m.
