Interdisciplinary health studies
What's your dream career?
Pediatric occupational therapist
In 10 years, where do you want to be?
I'm not sure. I'd love to be back in Canada with my family, but I also love Florida
Why do you play beach volleyball?
Because it's the most fun sport while also challenging me in different ways every day. It has given me so many opportunities and once in a lifetime experiences!
Do you have a favorite moment in your career playing beach volleyball?
I loved my first international tournament in Mexico. The atmosphere was so fun and we played some great volleyball.
Who/what inspires you?
Thinking about myself in 40 or 50 years looking back on my experience inspires me to be the best I can be while I'm here right now.
What is something about you that people wouldn't expect?
I tried a lot of sports before I stuck to volleyball. One of them was synchronized swimming!
What's your proudest achievement?
Winning the qualifier of the u21 beach volleyball world championships in Thailand to compete for Canada and finishing top 20!
What's the most valuable piece of advice you have received?
Comparison is the thief of joy

Oatmeal with peanut butter and banana
Pre-match music?
Anything rap or hip-hop
Favorite hobby?
Cooking for my friends, playing games and reading a good book
What does it mean to be a student-athlete?
It means getting the opportunity to play the sport you love at a high level with massive support while also pursuing a degree. It's really the best of both worlds!
