Gulihur Earns Sixth ASUN Women's Tennis Player of the Week Award

ATLANTA - For the first time this season and the sixth time in the last three seasons, North Florida women's tennis' Kit Gulihur was named ASUN Player of the Week as announced by the league office.

Gulhur has been named ASUN Player of the Week five times prior to this, with previous honors coming in March 2021, January 2022, March 2022 and twice in April 2022. Last year, Gulihur created a program record for most weekly awards in a season with four. With this being Kit's sixth ASUN Player of the Week award, Gulihur ties Aline Berkenbrock for the UNF record for most ASUN Player of the Week awards in program history.

Last weekend, Gulihur went undefeated in three matches, along with clinching the win for the Ospreys against Charleston Southern Sunday.

Gulihur was honored as an ASUN Winner for Life in 2022 and was named the first in UNF history to be honored as an NCAA Elite 90 athlete. The Ospreys continue their road matches as they travel to Tallahassee to face Florida State and Florida A&M Sunday, Feb. 5.
