Ospreys Welcome Five Power Five Programs
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF women's tennis is back at the UNF Tennis Complex for the first time this fall season as the Ospreys host the UNF Fall Invite from Nov. 10-12. North Florida has now hosted a fall invite for three-straight fall seasons, bringing in some of the nation's best teams.
Results will be available at the ITA Tournament Central link at the top of the release.
With a very competitive slate ahead of them, the Ospreys will clash against USF, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Charlotte, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska and Stetson. Five of the nine teams in attendance coming from power five schools will pose a great challenge for a team that hopes to build momentum going into their spring season.
UNF's last match on its home courts was the 2023 ASUN Championship that saw the Ospreys take home the title in April of last year.
Charlotte, FSU, and USF all return for another year at the UNF Tennis Complex. Performing well against UNF in the past, the Ospreys will push to change the results of some of their matches with these schools this time around.
This being the third year in a row that the Ospreys have hosted the UNF Fall Invite, UNF is still looking to capture its first doubles title for the tournament and hope to keep the singles title at UNF for a third year.
