
Kashima Finishes Top 25 at Evie Odom Invitational

Tied for 23rd Overall at 8-Over 218 Over the Weekend
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - One Kashima continues to shine as a true freshman with another top-25 finish, as North Florida women's golf wrapped up play at the Evie Odom Invitational hosted by Old Dominion on Sunday afternoon.
Kashima finished the final round at 2-over 72 with a pair of birdies to secure her spot among the top part of the field. She joins Eisenbeiss as the one players with top-25 finishes on the season, as they both have recorded two each so far this fall.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Kashima started rough with a bogey on the first hole, but went 1-under through the rest of the front nine and scored birdie on the last hole to finish tied for 23rd at 8-over 218 at the Evie Odom Invitational.
- She had the second-most total pars over the tournament with 42 total, as well as the fifth-best par-three average at 1-under.
- Casilda Allendesalazar scored eight straight pars on the back nine of the final round to have her best score at Old Dominion at 3-over 75.
- The junior transfer also finished with the most birdies on the team, as she made up seven of the 22 birdies.
- Helen Zhou completed her UNF debut with 12 pars on Sunday to match Allendesalazar's weekend score of 16-over 226 just outside the top 50.
- Jessie Cai had a strong finish with five pars and a birdie on the last six holes to card a 7-over 77 final round.
- Kaitlynn Washburn had her best round of the weekend at 5-over 75 to close out the weekend for the Ospreys.
- UNF recorded 168 total pars, which ranked sixth among the tournament, and 22 total birdies as a team.
