What's your name and year?
Kenzie Murphy, freshman
What's your major?
Pre health
What's your dream career?
Not 100% sure but right now I'd say a nurse anesthetist
In 10 years, where do you want to be?
I want to live somewhere in Florida, have a happy healthy family and a stable job
Why do you play beach volleyball?
I play beach volleyball because it is the most fun sport. I love being a part of a team and pushing myself mentally and physically every day to be a better person and player.
Do you have a favorite moment in your career playing beach volleyball?
Before coming to UNF, it would be traveling across the country to play the best competition and learn from Kerri Walsh, a four-time Olympic medalist
What is something about you that people wouldn't expect?
I am from Illinois
What's your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement would be inspiring girls back home that they can get scholarships to play beach volleyball even though they live in the Midwest
What's the most valuable piece of advice you have received?
Everything happens for a reason

A good sandwich or wrap!

Anything upbeat - rap. throwbacks, country, or pop - Kanye, Drake, DaBaby
Favorite hobby?
Going to the beach with my friends, shopping, and traveling
What does it mean to be a student-athlete?
To be a student athlete means to win in the classroom and in your sport. It's challenging but so rewarding
