PIGG'SÂ POINTS
"We're looking forward to going back to Gainesville. Scott Peters always puts on greats meets, so we knew it would be good. But, it was even better than what we imagined, as far as our experience at that first meet. The facility is phenomenal and we're looking forward to going back. Many of our kids ran really good openers, which shows they worked really hard over break, and that was exciting to see. We had another great week of practice and everyone's excited to get back out there and run again. They'll run well and they're also gaining experience. Indoors is different that outdoors with a 200m banked indoor track and many student-athletes have never been on an indoor track. Ella Chandler winning the mile and looked great, it was the first time she was ever on an indoor track and it's fun to see. They'll run well, it's a great place, so we have a lot of momentum headed into the weekend." -- head coach Jeff Pigg
