JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - No. 49 North Florida women's golf is set to play in its fourth NCAA regional tournament in program history, as well as their second consecutive regional, when it takes on their strongest field yet in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional from May 9-11 at Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
The Tallahassee Regional field will feature 12 teams containing four squads in the top 25 and seven in the top 40. There will also be six unattached individuals competing as well, including two members of ASUN schools.
Christin Eisenbeiss has her sights set on another run to Scottsdale after she became the first women's golfer in program history to make the NCAA Championship last season. Both Eisenbeiss and Mindy Herrick will look to lead the team this time around after they earned All-Tournament honors at the ASUN Championship just a few weeks ago.

- They earned an automatic bid to NCAA play after winning ASUN Championship by four strokes last month.
- Christin Eisenbeiss looks to return to Scottsdale for a second consecutive year, whether with the team or as an individual, after being the first player in program history to make it last season.
- Third tournament played in the state of Florida this season and their first since the UNF Collegiate in March, where they finished as the team champion.
- The field will feature 12 teams with eight opposing teams ranked in the top 50, as well as six individuals, including two of them coming from the ASUN.
- They also enter the tournament with a program-best team scoring average of 289.78, which ranks fifth in their region and 13th in the country.
- This squad will be looking for their seventh top-four finish of the season, which will be needed to advance to the NCAA Championship tournament.
- The Tallahassee Regional will tee off Monday morning and will complete the tournament with 18 holes on each day through Wednesday afternoon.
- Eisenbeiss has five top-10 finishes on the year, including a top-five placement at the ASUN Championship after scoring 1-under 215.
- She also tied for fourth in last year's Louisville Regional at 2-under 214 and will look for a similar score to send her back to the NCAA Championship.
- Herrick joined Eisenbeiss at 1-under 215 from the ASUN Championship and will aim for a fifth tournament under par this season.
- Sara McKevitt has been a steady hand for the team, as she scored even-par during all three rounds of the ASUN Championship to finish in sixth at even-par 216.
- Jessie Cai was the fourth Osprey to place in the top 10 at the conference meet after she carded 7-over 223.
- Daniela Gonzalez rounds out the group heading to the Tallahassee Regional, as she was tied for 28th at 14-over 230 in Valdosta this past month.
The Ospreys will need to place among the top four teams at the Tallahassee Regional, or have an individual place in the top two of non-advancing teams, to move forward to the NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz. It will be played at the Grayhawk Golf Club hosted by Arizona State from May 20-25.
