Ospreys Defeat North Alabama and Jacksonville State in Pool Play

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - North Florida beach volleyball (24-13) improved to 24-13 for the season and 3-1 in pool play with wins against North Alabama (15-13) and Jacksonville State (3-23) Saturday, April 23 in Huntsville, Ala.

With the wins, UNF ties its program record for wins in a season with 24. With a win tomorrow, North Florida guarantees itself a spot in championship Monday.

Lauren Galinis picked up win number 62, moving into third place all-time in the UNF wins chart. Taryn Griffey also reached the 60-win milestone, becoming just the fifth Osprey to reach that mark.

Match 1: UNF 5, UNA 0
UNF won all but one set played over the five courts, sweeping North Alabama for the second time this season. Madeline Camp and Mariana Feliciano-Sanchez won both of their sets without allowing their opponents to reach 10 points.
