Beach Volleyball Advances to Semifinals, Defeats Central Arkansas

Ospreys Set Program Single-Season Wins Record
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Four of the five courts went to three sets, but UNF won three of them and got a sweep at the fifth slot to defeat Central Arkansas, 4-1, and earn the right to advance to the Championship Semifinals set for Monday.Â
North Florida (25-13) concludes pool play, 4-1, reaching a program-single season record 25 wins in the process. The Ospreys move on to face top-seeded No. 18 Stetson in the semifinals Monday at 12:30 p.m. EST.Â
The winner of that match advances to the finals to face the winner of FGCU and UNC Wilmington.
UNF 4, UCA 1
The lone court to not go to three sets was the fifth position, with Mariana Feliciano-Sanchez and Madeline camp cruising to a 21-15, 21-9 lead.Â
UCA (17-16) took the fourth slot in three frames, but UNF buckled down to come through in clutch situations, winning three matches in three frames between courts one, two and three.Â
