Beach Volleyball Bows Out of ASUN Championship in Semifinals

Ospreys Finish the Season 25-14
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - North Florida beach volleyball's chance at a second-straight ASUN Championship came up short in the ASUN Semifinals against No. 18 and top-seeded Stetson Monday, April 25.
The Ospreys dropped the match, 3-0, finishing the year with a 25-14 record, good for its most wins in program history. North Florida finished the championship 4-2, going 4-1 in pool play.
Courts five, four and two finished, with courts three and one remaining unfinished as Stetson clinched to advance to the finals. Stetson would eventually win the title against FGCU.
The Hatters took the fifth court in straight sets just before Chantel McMillan and Hayden Wooldridge came back to even their court up and force a third frame. The Hatters got a crucial win in the third frame, going up 2-0.Â
With the momentum in hand, Stetson would clinch the match in straight sets at the second slot.
