Herrick Leads Osprey Squad After Second Day
VALDOSTA, Ga. - No. 48 North Florida women's golf continues to pace the field of 11 teams with another great round at the ASUN Championship on Monday afternoon. UNF is a combined 1-over through the first two rounds and takes a four-stroke lead over Kennesaw State into the final day of play.
The Ospreys are within striking distance of their first team title at the ASUN Championship since 2017. They are currently the only team in the field with four players ranked in the top 10 of the player's leaderboard.
Mindy Herrick is the top Osprey after round two at 1-under 143 overall with a share of third, as she will be searching for her fourth consecutive top-10 finish at the ASUN Championship meet on Tuesday. Sara McKevitt carded the best second-round score for UNF at even-par 72 and joins Christin Eisenbeiss at even-par combined and tied for fifth.

- Herrick finished strong yet again scoring the entire back nine at par or better to set herself up to push for the ASUN medalist crown during Tuesday's final round.

- McKevitt has the second-best average par-four score (2-under) through two days, as she posted the top score in the second round for the Ospreys with another even-par day.
- Eisenbeiss also joins McKevitt at even-par and tied for fifth after the second round with her three birdie day on Monday.
- She is tied for the second-best average par-three score (1-under), the fourth-best average par-five score (1-under) and the fifth-most total pars (7).
- Jessie Cai is the fourth Osprey be placed in the top 10 after her 3-over 75 second round brought her to 2-over combined and in ninth place on the leaderboard.
- Daniela Gonzalez scored another day at 5-over 77 to bring her total to a cumulative 10-over that puts her just outside the top 30.
- The Ospreys are the only team after day two with three players in the top five and four players in the top 10 of the player's leaderboard.
- UNF keeps the lead in the field for average par-three score (even-par), par-four score (3-over) and total pars (119), while also staying in the top four for par-five score (8-over) and total birdies (26).
