Suspended Play in Second Round, Will Resume On Tuesday Morning

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - North Florida men's golf had its second round halted by darkness, as it stands fourth at 10-under among a field of four top-50 teams at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial on Monday evening.

Their first-round performance was one of the best rounds collectively by the team this season with all five Osprey golfers carding at par or better. They also combined for 19 birdies in the first round and limited their mistakes to only 11 combined holes scored worse than par.

Nick Gabrelcik and Robbie Higgins share the top spot on the Osprey team at 6-under through the first day before play was suspended. They both are tied for fourth on the player's leaderboard with no other team in the field currently having two players in the top five spots.
