JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The home-opening weekend of year three at The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex concluded with a pair of wins for the North Florida beach volleyball team Sunday, Mar. 6. The Ospreys (7-2) swept Mercer (0-7) and finished the day with a 4-1 win against Jacksonville (2-6).

Callie Workman earned career-win number 62, moving her past Courtney Miller for second on the all-time wins chart at North Florida.

Match 1: UNF 5, Mercer 0
North Florida swept every single court, including the extras pair, where Zoe Cahill and Anna Mallory needed only two sets to win at the sixth slot. O'Connell and Madeline Camp won a pair of 21-10 frames, while Carleigh Semeniuk and Lauren Galinis cruised to a win in part thanks to a dominant 21-5 first set.

UNF earned a River City Rumble Barrel Point by staying hot in the all-time series against its crosstown foes. The Ospreys haven't lost to JU since 2015, improving to 26-2 against JU.

Mariana Feliciano-Sanchez and Julianna Askew earned their first win at the fifth slot just after O'Connell and Camp earned the first team point of the match. Taryn Griffey and Workman clinched things at the top slot and Chantel McMillan and Hayden Wooldridge added another straight-sets win at the third slot.
