DELAND, Fla. - North Florida beach volleyball (11-6) finished up an eight-match week by splitting a pair of matches in DeLand Saturday, March 19. UNF dropped the opener to No. 17 Stetson (6-8) before rebounding to win the weekend finale against North Alabama (5-7).

Match 1: #17 Stetson 4, UNF 1
North Florida and Stetson squared off in a rematch of last year's ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship, although this time the No. 17 Hatters got the win as North Florida came up short, 4-1.

Zoe Cahill and Marisa Rogers nearly won at the five slot, coming up short in three frames as Stetson got a 2-0 lead and eventually clinched things at the third slot. Taryn Griffey and Callie Workman got on the board for the Ospreys.
