Beach Volleyball to Take on FGCU, Palm Beach Atlantic, Stetson and North Alabama

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A busy week finishes with four more matches, this time in DeLand as UNF takes on FGCU, Palm Beach Atlantic, Stetson and North Alabama tomorrow and Saturday.

Last Time Out
MIAMI, Fla. - It's always a battle between ASUN rivals North Florida beach volleyball and FGCU, and Wednesday in South Beach that theme continued as the Ospreys (9-4) were edged, 3-2, by (RV) FGCU (10-4).

Last Time in DeLand
UNF's last trip to DeLand will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those affiliated with the UNF beach volleyball program. The Ospreys defeated the Hatters, 3-2, to win the 2021 ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship last April.

Series History

FGCU: UNF leads the all-time series, 23-9 … FGCU did win the last meeting, a 3-2 decision on South Beach … the Ospreys won the last meeting against the Eagles in DeLand, a 3-2 victory for the Ospreys in the 2021 ASUN Championship Semifinals.
PBA: UNF and Palm Beach Atlantic are meeting for the third time and the second time in less than a week … UNF is 2-0 against the Sailfish after winning 3-2 earlier this week.
Stetson: It'll be a rematch of the 2021 ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship as North Florida and Stetson square off for the first time since UNF dethroned the Hatters, 3-2, in the 2021 ASUN Championship match … UNF is 6-6 against Stetson in DeLand, while the Hatters lead the all-time series, 20-11.
UNA: UNF and UNA met for the first time a year ago, with UNF sweeping the Lions twice.

UNF is 9-4 after splitting four matches at FIU's Surf 'N Turf Invitational this week … Taryn Griffey and Callie Workman were named ASUN Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week for March 9 … the Ospreys are paced by Chantel McMillan and Hayden Wooldridge … the duo has a team-high nine wins … Gabby O'Connell and Madeline Camp have proved strong in the early going, post an 8-4 mark while just having a five-match winning streak come to an end Wednesday.
