North Florida Hosts No. 14/16 Liberty for Three-Game Set
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball begins ASUN play with a three-game set against Liberty at Harmon Stadium Friday, March 18-Sunday, March 20.Â
The ASUN season features 30 conference games, with the Ospreys playing six games apiece against each ASUN East Division team.

After the Liberty series, UNF will have only played three road games thus far ... beginning March 22, UNF will play nine-straight road games ... the next home game will be April 8 vs. Jacksonville.

UNF is playing games one, two and three of a 30-game ASUN slate this season. The Ospreys are set to play two series against each ASUN East Division team. Each team will get one home series among those two series.
Hot Bat
Aidan Sweatt is picking up where he left off last year. The sophomore has 23 hits, good for tied for seventh in the ASUN. He is currently on a nine-game hitting streak, and last Friday at UCF he drove in a career-best four RBI during the 10-2 win. Cade Westbrook isn't far behind his teammate in the hit column. The outfielder has clubbed 22 hits.
Strong Start
During the UCF series last weekend, North Florida's starting pitching turned in a 3.45 ERA, 15.2 innings worked, 15 strikeouts and just three walks. Max McKinley fanned six and didn't walk any, earning the win in a five-inning effort. Tony Roca went a season-long 7.2 innings Sunday during UNF's 4-2 win against UCF.
When Winning
In UNF's six wins, the Ospreys are hitting .350 as a team while Cade Westbrook is a monstrous 12-for-24 at the dish with six RBI ... the Ospreys have clubbed 17 doubles in victories, while holding opponents to .200 at the plate ... - The Flames are coming off a 2-1 loss to VCU during midweek play.
- LU was selected as an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship last year, playing in the Knoxville Regional. Liberty knocked off Duke twice, but was eliminated by Tennessee.
- Liberty had been on an 11-game winning streak prior to losing to Campbell March 11.Â
